Earning money on your own website is easy!
Virtually anyone can get to set up a simple website to earn some dollars on it, if nothing else if they get a little guidance to get started. A common way to make money on their website is to post ads, such as text ads from Google or other ad networks. Or you can bring in their own advertisers, something that usually serve much better at because it removes an intermediary – it requires that you have some traffic and that one is able to convince potential advertisers.
If users like your site very well, by, for example, offer something of personal value to your users, they might want to repay you in any way. Then it may be topical to give your users the opportunity to donate money to you via your website (this is a popular income model used by most types of sites). Rather than create its own payment solution, one can use an existing solution (PayPal.com offers a free solution that makes this very easy).
In addition to advertising and donations can make money on their own websites by working with other web sites. For example, if you have a page about the economy, you can integrate and customize a part of this page for a particular brokerage company. Brokerage company earns money from their customers, and you will receive a commission for every new customers who sign up via the integrated part of your site, or you may receive ongoing commission for the revenue those customers you have referred generates.
