Vouchers Explained

What The Heck Are Vouchers, Anyway?

If you have already been researching TVI, then you may know there is a voucher system in place for making your one-time $250 payment to the company in order to join TVI.

I’d like to explain why there is a voucher system, and caution you that not all teams readily have access to vouchers.

To begin with, vouchers are simply a system for getting membership payments from many different currencies to the company in the UK. When you sign up on your sponsor’s TVI website, you need to enter a prepaid voucher ID number to get your membership.

So you pre pay for the voucher through someone on the team - whoever has a voucher, and then you use that voucher number to sign up on your sponsor’s TVI Express website.

You go to their website, click join now. Then it prompts you for a user name and all of your information. Then you insert the voucher number and code, then you become a member. You immediately get your own back office and your own TVI Express website.

Alternatively, you can wire money to the company’s bank in the UK using a currency exchange service such as TrustPay.com and TVI’s chosen international money transfer serivce LibertyReserve.com. This method, however, is costly for one small transaction amount of $250.

Why A Voucher System?

Let’s look at why TVI Express has a voucher system to begin with. It is an international company that is based in the UK. We are enrolling members from most countries across the world. With that in mind, you have all of these different currencies and exchange rates they’re having to consider.

So for TVI Express, as an international company, it’s not as simple as just paying with your credit card to the company. While credit cards are common in the US, they are not as commonly used for commerce overseas. So TVI Express tried to simplify the membership payments by creating a voucher system.

How Do You Get Vouchers For Your Own Membership & For Your Downline?

Vouchers are gained a number of ways.

In order to get vouchers, it takes a team leader or team member to front some capital to buy vouchers from the company via a wire transfer. We’ll get into that later.

Not every team has people that are willing to do that, so be sure that you get on a team that will help you and has vouchers available. If you don’t have access to vouchers on your team, then no one is going to be able to move anywhere. Your boards are going to be stagnant and everyone is going to be stuck in the position that they are in and you will never be able to get your payouts.

To aquire these vouchers via wire transfers, the person fronting the capitol has to pay transfer fees and exchange rate losses, as the the dollar is weak currently. For us to pay money to an international company in the UK, our dollar doesn’t go nearly as far, so it’s costing us here in the US a little bit more than $250 to buy into this company.

Therefore, due to service and transfer fees, and poor exchange rates, the vouchers are costing anywhere from $265 to $305. Since we have to wire the money to TVi Express in England, it doesn’t make sense just to buy one or two, because you’re going to pay too much per voucher. But if you can buy them in bulk, in groups of 10, 20, 30, or 40, which is what many teams are doing, then you can get that “per voucher” cost down as much as possible and as close to $250 as possible.

Now there is a much easier way to get vouchers. Basically, when you are paid your commissions from the company in your back office, you get the money into your e-wallet.

So when somebody moves out of the Traveler Board, you automatically get $500 in your e-wallet. Instead of transferring that into your bank account, and paying a transfer fee, you can use that commission to buy two vouchers directly from the company.

Essentially, you are only paying $250 per voucher. So all of our team members are buying vouchers with their commission, then they turn around and sell them to new members coming into their downline. If they do not have a lot of new members to enroll, there are ALWAYS leaders in thier upline that will snatch those vouchers up right away. There is never a problem selling the vochers and getting your commission back in US dollars.

* This may seem confusing , but thats why we are here. We will walk you through everything while keeping it simple.
